Homeschool Day “Gardening 101”

Suitable for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade
$8 per student, $9 per adult

From annuals to perennials, garden zones, frost-free dates, seed starting and preparing the garden bed, we’ll cover the basics of spring gardening and composting and explore why it’s important for the ecosystem and plant health. Get an early start on your family’s summer garden or windowsill garden and learn an easy way to start your seeds outside using recycled materials.

Tickets to the Butterfly Atrium are included in admission.
