Bug-O-Rama

This year’s Bug-O-Rama features an array of unique insects from around the world, including tarantulas, unique mantises, scorpions, jungle nymphs, cockroaches, walking sticks and more. Small reptiles will also be on display, such as snakes, frogs and geckos. Special guests include Ryan “The Bug Man” Bridge with a collection of live and preserved insects and arachnids, PA Bat Rescue with live bats, and the York County 4H Entomology Club.
Guests also include Keys to Bees and Penn State Entomological Outreach; there will be a variety of hands-on activities and crafts. Additionally, Sarah’s Creamery will be selling treats, and face painting is being offered for an additional charge.
Join us at 1 p.m. for “Rare and Regal: A Conservation Story”,
with Fort Indiantown Gap and ZooAmerica, Education Center Classroom
Learn more at their table in the Educational & Horticultural Wing from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Included in general admission, which includes entrance to the Butterfly Atrium. Free for members.
