October 26, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Plants Rule! Harnessing the Sun for a Negative-Carbon Bio-Econom

What is needed to reverse the already excessive concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere? Join us for this program featuring Dr. Tom Richard, Director of Penn State’s Institutes of Energy and the Environment.

Dr. Richard will discuss the importance of biological processes in reaching a carbon-negative future and will help us understand the opportunities of biomass conversion in agriculture to contribute to our future sustainability. Join us to learn about the agroecological pieces and how they all fit together.

This free program will be presented at the Milton & Catherine Hershey Conservatory at Hershey Gardens.
