Marvelous Mondays
July 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Mondays are marvelous in The Children’s Garden! Join us for kids’ crafts and explore weekly themes about produce and farming, birds, indoor gardening, trees and pollinators. Come back each week to discover new activities and greet special guests.

Included in admission; free for members.

Special Guests:

July 8: Produce and Farming with special guests, PA Farms to Families Immersion Lab and Katherine English from Rock Hill Heritage Farm, MHS Project Market Pop Up Shop: Purchase produce grown by students and products made by students, as well as soaps, bouquets, etc.

July 15: Birds with special guest  ZooAmerica and Quittapahilla Audubon Society

July 22: Indoor Gardening with special guest Harrisburg University Science & Technology as they educate guests on aquaponics, including a take-home mini greenhouse activity to grow microgreens. Other activities will include a demonstration of our hydroponic tower, a seed-saving station and a take-home water bottle greenhouse activity.

July 29: Trees with special guest Master Watershed Steward Program, Penn State Extension

August 5: Pollinators with special guest Author and Illustrator Kevin McCloskey
